The name and slogan
YOUR DADS BEEF JERKY- the name! I, Dave DeBoard(owner) was in the Army, and growing up my parents always made beef jerky. While I was in the Army, my dad would send me jerky and my mom would send baked goods, every time I would be eating the beef jerky; my fellow Army brothers would ask, “Is that your dads beef jerky?” Therefore the name was birthed!
”So good, you don’t need teeth!” The slogan- an uncle was under the house working in the crawl space as we were all sitting ar thinking of a slogan. My uncle pops up from the crawl space with a piece of jerky in his mouth and says “It’s so dag on good I don’t have any teeth, and I can eat it “ we laughed and decided that was the slogan! I hope you enjoy our story, our passion for family, and our amazing beef jerky.
